_New blog posts every week with the latest information on SkyFall.
Noel Callagher denies Skyfall title song Last week it was rumoured that Noel Callagher would be writing the opening song for SkyFall. His blog states this: "Now, I don't know whether you've seen a story that's doing the rounds about me being offered the job of penning the tune for the new James Bond film? Apparently I'm being courted by "007 bosses"!!!!! A meeting will be "taking place in the next few days"!!!! With some guy called "Michael G. Wilson" (whoever he is)!!! A "source" says, "nothing has been signed or made official"!!!! Of course it f*****' hasn't!!!!!! Who IS this f*****' "source"? Has he been on the "sauce"? Bizarre indeed. You currently find me in San Francisco.... It's the last night of this particular leg of this particular American tour. Flying home tomorrow." SkyFall to be shot in Canary Warf, London According to the Warf website, scenes from SkyFall with be shot at The Four Seasons Hotel in Westferry Circus "We would not usually say which locations we are using anyway. However, shooting began on the 007 stage at Pinewood on November 7." The crew have already been shooting SkyFall in the Whitehall, Smithfields market and Trafalgar Square. Helen McCrory rumoured to play Miss Moneypenny Helen McCrory has been tied in with the cast of SkyFall since the press conference earlier this month. She has refused to reveal who her character is. "It's nice, I'm not Bond in Bond and I'm not Hugo in Hugo. I've got a four- and five-year-old and I'm not away for months, making melodramatic decisions about whether to be a mother or an actress." If she has a minor role in the film, perhaps she is fitted to play Miss Moneypenny. Naomi Harris interview "I did worry about it a bit, My agent said to me: `It's unlike anything else you have done before, just be prepared'. After the launch, my face was everywhere in the papers and on the news. I was worried. But, amazingly, I was still able to get on and off the bus and no one recognised me." "Eve kicks ass. I'm loving it at the moment. I am such a pacifist, I never thought I would enjoy firing guns but, in the safety of the gun range and at a target board, it's so much fun. I'm doing gyrotonics (a fluid training style that blends movements of yoga, dance, gymnastics, tai chi and swimming on a machine) twice a week and I have a yoga teacher three times a week who also takes me jogging." Ben Whishaw has been cast as Q The Quartermaster returns for the first time since the reboot of the series in 2006. English actor Ben Whishaw confirmed Saturday that he would be playing the role of Q in SkyFall. Mendes believes that a younger Q would be best for such a younger Bond. Whishaw has worked with a number of the crew members in previous films. Ascot Racecourse filming It was confirmed this morning that scenes from SkyFall will be shot at the Ascot Racecourse. This racecourse appeared in A View To A Kill in 1985, but this time, they will be using the location for something completely different. The crew have been filming at night to hide the racetrack. Instead they have errected Shanghai International Airport signs with blue banners to match the airport. Some more filming tips: Daniel Craig has been spotted outside the National Art Gallery in Trafalgar Square. Outdoor sets have been created at Pinewood Studios. The crew have been purchasing lots of VW Beetle cars. Comments are closed.
