SKYFALL Teaser Poster Revealed The firsty poster for SKYFALL was released on Thursday along with a new release date for the teaser trailer. According to 007.com, the first trailer for SKYFALL will be released slightly earlier on 21st May (this Monday) and then it will be released in cinemas on 25th May (this Friday). The poster shows Daniel Craig as James Bond holding his PPK with the gun barrel behind him. The gun barrel seems to resemble a train tunnel which Bond is walking down. What do you think? (More updates below poster)  Sam Mendes wants a real Bond villain Damsels.org interviewed Sam Mendes (the director) last week. "[It's been] a while since there was a classic … what I would call a classic Bond villain. I’m not saying these guys weren’t great. I thought Mads[Mikkelsen] was particularly good in Casino RoyaleBut I wanted somebody perhaps a bit more flamboyant, perhaps a bit more frightening, and so I felt like we needed a great actor to achieve that." Sam Mendes cast Javier Bardem as the films main antagonist; Raoul Silva, whom we know very little about. Train Chase in Adana with Craig and Harris Now that the first unit and second unit team have met up in Adana, they have started to shoot the action-packed pre-title sequence. Daniel Craig was on the set with Naomi Harris. Craig was accompanied by his stunt double as some amazing stunts were performed on the roof of a train.

Bond 23 Press Conference confirms 'SkyFall' title and other rumours On Thursday 03 November 2011 the official press conference for Bond 23 took place. From the press conference we found out that many rumoured casting had been confirmed. Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomi Harris and Berenice Marlohe attended the event. It was also said that both Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw had landed roles in the film. The film will be taking place in Istanbul, Scotland, China and, of course, Pinewood Studios in London. "Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Skyfall - probable title for Bond 23 With Quantum of Solace, Sony Pictures purchased several domain names regarding the title of the film before it went public. We believe that they have done this again for Bond 23. On 3rd October Sony Pictures purchased over 15 domain names, suspiciously relating to James Bond. A few weeks ago, Daniel Craig hinted to us that they had a title in the making but wouldn't reveal it yet. Could this be the name of the 23rd James Bond film? I don't know, but it sure is better than Quantum of Solace though, eh? Filming in Scotland confirmed A few months ago we heard a rumour that part of the film will be taking place in a castle in Scotland. We recently found out that Sctoland is a confirmed location. The scene is expected to take place at Duntrune Castle on Poltalloch Estate near Lochgilphead. The Duntrune Castle is the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland. They plan to start filming in February 2012. “Preparatory work begins as soon as everybody sobers up after New Year, but I can’t go into details. I am sworn to secrecy.” Scenes from From Russia With Love have been filmed there; a coincidence because they are also going to be filming in Turkey, which is another location in FRWL. Bond Girl casting confirmed Last week, rumours began that Berenice Marlohe had opted for the role of a Bond Girl in Bond 23. Today, we have been informed that the casting will all be revealed soon, and that Berenice Marlohe has landed a role. Another actress who has reportedly landed a role in the film is Helen McCrory (famous for playing Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter series). This report comes from reliable tabloids, and although they say that the casting has been confirmed, we like to wait until one of the crew members mentions it. Another confirmed role is M's Chief of Staff, Tanner. Rory Kinnear will be returning to the role. |
