Bond 23 Title hint
A recent interview with Daniel Craig has proved that an actual title for the new film has been considered.

Anrea Mineo from CNN posted a tweet on her Twitter account, "I think I'm interviewing Daniel Craig shortly. Bond baby." Later on, she made another post saying "So Daniel Craig just told me they are starting the next James Bond film and it's got a title but he wouldn't tell me it."

Bond 23, as its inevitably known, is scheduled to begin filming in Pinewood Studios this November ready for its release on 26th Octobert 2012 in the UK.

John Logan hints about returning iconic character
At a BAFTA event, screenwriter John Logan hinted that an iconic character may be returning. A member of the audience reminded Logan of something he said years ago. He said "Bond should always fight Blofeld'. He replied by repeating the phrase after letting of a little smirk. However, the posibility of Blofeld returning to the series is quite bleak, as the previous fimls have been based around a QUANTUM organisation. It is more likely that James Bond will go after the QUANTUM organisation before engaging in SPECTRE. If you didn't already know, both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are set before the rest of the Bond films, bringing Bond back to basics and giving audiences the chance to see how Bond has changed into the Bond we all know and love. The SPECTRE organisation was first introduced in Dr No and James Bond had never heard of it before.

Because of this, it has left us wondering if John Logan meant someone else. Perhaps his quote from ten years ago was just to wet our appetites. Here are some iconic characters we think could return:
Q - The quartermaster of MI6, who hasn't been present in the previous two films. A lot of fans have been dissapoined with the fact that he has been considered 'not-required'.
Miss Moneypenny - Another character who has not appeared in the latest two films. Although suspicion has risen that Naomi Harris will play this role
Jaws - The guy with the expensive teeth. He has only been present in two films (and several video games)
Paris Carver - In Tomorrow Never Dies 1997, a relationship between James Bond and Paris Carver had blossomed before the film. Could she be returning?
Valentin Zukovski - James Bond hints in GoldenEye 1995 that he was the one who 'gave him the limp', suggesting that he has had an encounter with him before which hasn't been present in the current films.
Other characters could include Tanner or Robinson

Bond 23 to begin production next week
At the premiere of George Clooney's new film The Ides of March, Daniel Craig was asked about his third outing as James Bond

"Craig told me he starts the next James Bond movie next week, which means a lot of working out. Daniel did not know whether the deal was done for Adele to sing the main theme"

Filming at Pinewood Studios is still expected to begin in November. This means that they could be working on another scene in an unidentified location. It also confirms that the rumours of Adele singing a theme song is true, but we still don't know if it is for Bond 23.

It is still unconfirmed that Jeffrey Wright, a two time Felix Leiter, will return for the new film. There is still a posibility that he could return. They have recently been focussing on some of the characters who are going to appear in the India sequence.

Ola Rapace joining the team
A recent news report from the Swedish new paper Expressen, Tusenbröder star Ola Rapace has obtained a role in the new film. EON has not yet confirmed this, but other reports have said that he has "a new project in the pipeline that will take all his time and focus"

Daniel Craig preparing for his return
Daniel Craig speaks about change for the new film. "It's just what's happening at the moment and it's very exciting for me, because I get the chance to do movies like this, which are way beyond what I would have expected to be doing four or five years ago,". A while ago, she said that she wanted to start an acting career and spoke of her enthusiasm towards working with Daniel Craig. "He's perfect and very hansome." She said that she wanted to get the part of the Bond girl, but nothing was confirmed.

Recently, newspapers state that Araujo is getting a part in the new film. She is expected begin her acting career in Pinewood Studios this November.

"Ana is really excited. It’s all very new to her but she is optimistic about the prospect of landing the role."

Alexander Witt as 2nd Unit Director of Photography
It is confirmed that Alexander Witt, who has appeared as 2nd Unit Director of Photography for "Harry Potter", "Robin Hood" and "X-Men: First Class", will take the same role in Bond 23. He also had the same role in 'Casino Royale' in 2006 and is excited to re-join the team.

India filming location halted
EON's plans to film in India have been halted due to some height issues. “Height is an issue. For the sequence, they require a particular height, which is not there near this spot. But they have still listed this place,”. Sources said that the Bond movie will be shot over 40 days from January to March.

In summer 2009, it was reported that Peter Morgan would co-write for the new film, but due to the financial problems with MGM he quit the role after coming up with a basic outline. Bond 23 in Istanbul, Turkey
Like From Russia With Love and The World Is Not Enough, recent reports have said that scenes for Bond 23 will be shot in Istanbul, Turkey in a historical place called Saltanahmet Square. They have filming permission from the Turkish Minister.

“Shooting will start within the next few months. We have discussed the issue and rather than closing the square completely, some parts could be partially closed from time to time for the filming. We have to consider our tourists, but we can accommodate foreign film production companies that want to use Turkey as a platform.”

Other confirmed filming locations include India and South Africa. China has also been considered but not confirmed.

Because of this, they will start filming in November 2011 in Pinewood Studios, just 11 months before the film is released in the UK.

EON finally have permission to film the dangerous train sequence from the new film in India. Slight changes have been made to ensure passenger safety during the shooting of the scene. EON denies that the new film will be called 'Carte Blanche'.

German movie websites have confirmed that Javier Bardem will play the villain. The news was revealed during the DVD release of his latest film 'Biutiful'.
