FAKE BOND 24 TRAILER SURFACES ON YOUTUBE (VIDEO)

A few days ago, a video titled "BOND 24: COME AND DIVE" was uploaded to YouTube. It claims to be the follow-up to a secret press conference announcing the title of the next James Bond film as 'Come and Dive'. The clip features the MGM lion and Daniel Craig with an unidentifiable lady in a graveyard. The footage of Daniel Craig looks like it was taken from the 'Happy and Glorious' sketch at the London Olympics in 2012, but it is flipped and edited against a different background. 

Fans have already been claiming that the artist who created the song which featured in the short 'trailer' was simply trying to boost popularity and views by faking the whole thing. It would be silly to assume that a franchise as big as the James Bond series would have such little recognition if there was a press conference - it would have been announced weeks in advance. Not to mention the fact that John Logan has only just finished the first draft of the story and the producers claim that they will start filming in October. 

A reporter for TotalFilm contacted Sony Pictures who confirmed that the trailer was a fake. 

The video was posted to a YouTube channel called 'Bond 24 Come and Dive' and utilized Sony branding to make the clip look authentic. According to the video description, the film's plot centers around Bond being "swept away by a dangerous love story. As MI6 rises from its ashes, 007 must protect a mysterious stranger and unveil long forgotten secrets. "
