Since the film's premiere in London on 26th October, Spectre has been smashing box-office records and has broken the record of the biggest opening of all time in the UK. Within just seven days it made £41.7 million and, combined with Ireland, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden making a total of $80 million.
Over the past month, filming has been going underway in the streets of Mexico which will take its place as the pre-title sequence of SPECTRE.
As Rome sweeps the streets clear for the Bond 24 production crew, a casting agency is assembling an acting crew for SPECTRE's shoot in Mexico later on in the year. These auditions were held in Mexico City on 5th February.
The title of BOND 24 has been officially announced as well as the principal cast members and the new Aston Martin DB10 which will also appear in the movie. The announcement was made at The 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios. Below is the full press release.
An official announcement will be made at Pinewood Studios in London to confirm the cast and the title of the 24th James Bond movie. The event will take place on Thursday 4th December at 11:00am GMT. Principal photography will begin on Monday 8th (as opposed to Saturday 6th.)

Bond in Motion, the largest official collection of James Bond vehicles, will be on display at the London Film Museum from 21 March. The exhibition contains more than 100 pieces including models, production art, props and iconic vehicles including ‘Little Nellie’ from YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, Goldfinger’s Rolls-Royce Phantom III and the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from GOLDENEYE. Also on display, for the first time, will be the 1/3 scale model of the Agusta Westland AW101 helicopter used in the filming of SKYFALL. Of course, what would you say if you were surrounded by thousands of Irish Bond fans? Barbara replied that if John Logan includes Ireland in the script “we’ll come here. Ireland is gorgeous. I’d love to come here and make a Bond film.” An Ireland paper read "Hopes rise next James Bond film will be shot in Ireland" as its headline. John Logan is currently at the long process of writing the script for BOND 24 which is not due for release until fall 2015.
