Let the casting commence! BAFTA award winning actor Chiwetel Ejiofor is rumoured to play the film's villain. Plus, producers looking for British and Scandinavian actresses. Last month it was confirmed that the first draft of Bond 24 was to be handed to the producers. Barbara Broccoli also announced that they were hoping to cast the villain pretty soon too. Let the casting rumours commence!
The first actor to be pinned to the latest Bond film is BAFTA award winning Chiwetel Ejiofor, who was nominated for his leading role in "12 Years A Slave". The 'source' said that although no offer has been placed yet, Ejiofor is certainly a hot contender for the baddie's role. Rumours also state that the producers are looking for a Scandinavian and a British actress for the two leading Bond ladies. If this is correct, the former will be following in the footsteps of Maud Adams, Kristina Wayborn, Britt Ekland and Izabella Scorupco. The Scandinavian will (according to the source) have a 'troubled past' and 'will serve as a brief love interest for Bond'. Comments are closed.
