SKYFALL DVD AND BLU-RAY RELEASE CONFIRMED FOR FEBRUARY 18TH

The 23rd James Bond film "Skyfall" will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on 18th February 2013, in the USA and Canada. Release dates for other countries are to be confirmed. The initial cover art uses the quad poster design, although this is subject to change.

COKE'S 007 SKYFALL CHALLENGE

Coke set out to challenge Bond fans at a train station where unsuspecting people were asked to carry out a 70 second secret mission in order to win exclusive tickets to see Skyfall. Two videos were released by Coke; one of the winners and the other of the people who took part.

PAUL EPWORTH TALKS ABOUT ADELE AND THE "SKYFALL" THEME

Paul Epworth, producer of the song "SKYFALL" by Adele, comments on their work together.

[The producers] said they wanted a dramatic ballad basically, with having read the script and trying to set the whole thing up in that context, where it happens in the film, there was really only one thing it could be. It was interesting to want to do something that was simultaneously dark and final, like a funeral, and to try and turn it into something that was not final. A sense of death and rebirth.”

”Within 10 minutes, she put down most of the vocals, she had the lyrics ready in her head when she drove over. It was the most absurd thing. She’s fast, but it was really quite phenomenal.”

SKYFALL SMASHES UK BOX OFFICE RECORD

SKYFALL has smashed the UK Box Office Record to become the biggest film of all time!

EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment are delighted to announce that SKYFALL has made history in the UK and become the highest grossing film of all time.

SKYFALL has now taken a staggering £94,277,612 at the UK box office in just 40 days on release, making box office history and overtaking the record previously held by Avatar which had a lifetime gross of £94,025, 632 million during 11 months on release in UK cinemas.

SKYFALL, the 23rd James Bond adventure, continuing the longest running and most successful franchise in film history, opened in 587 cinemas across the UK and Ireland on Friday 26th October, and is still on general release.

Craig’s third Bond movie Skyfall is breaking box office records, but the 44-year-old Brit told The Sun he has had enough.

“I’ve been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it. But they won’t let me go, and I’ve agreed to do a couple more. But let’s see how this one does, because business is business and if the s*** goes down, I’ve got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their ass with.

SKYFALL, the 23rd James Bond adventure, continuing the longest running and most successful franchise in film history, opened in 587 cinemas across the UK and Ireland on Friday 26th October. It will release in the US on November 9th.
