Jez Butterworth, writer for the recent hit Edge of Tomorrow is making some last minute tweaks to the Bond 24 script. It is rumoured that he had a hand in the scripting of Skyfall, but was left uncredited.
Whilst the script is being finalised in London, the crew in Obertilliach, Austria have been busy constructing smaller weathered buildings to be used in what appears to be a major action sequence.
More details have emerged over the past few weeks suggesting that the crew will be filming scenes at the Dachstein glacier, only a few miles away from Obertilliach. The scene is said to feature a helicopter landing and a ski-lift being destroyed in an explosion. It is believed that Sam Mendes had a hand in suggesting the location and wants to film at Lake Altaussee, provided it is not frozen. The production team sent out papers looking for people with good mountaineering skills for an 'unnamed international film.' Shooting is expected to start in January/February for a few weeks, in which Daniel Craig and the henchman (Hinx) will be on location.
