Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are brought in to iron out Logan's final draft. Will the release date be pushed back? Production for Bond 24 seems to be getting shaken and stirred as writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have "been hired to re-write Logan ’s script and give it some ‘punch’."
As confirmed a few months ago, John Logan stated that his first draft was almost ready to be handed in. Logan had signed up to write Bond 24 and 25 but has recently said that he has finished with the franchise and wants to move on. Neal Purvis and Robert Wade departed after 5 consecutive films but have now taken Logan's place. As a result, filming is now being pushed back to December with possibly a later release than October 2015. On the subject of Bond 25, John Logan said "As I look forward, and look at the work I've done, you know the big movies - the Bond's and things like that - are increasingly less interesting to me. I feel I really have done that. I've walked in that world long enough. But the theater always fascinates me, and it always has since I was 7, and television - which is also brand new to me - is also fascinating. So, if I had to look in to the future, I imagine I would be doing theater and TV almost exclusively." Comments are closed.
