Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler has recently expressed enthusiasm in singing the title song for Bond 24. She reached the peak of her career in the 1980's with her #1 hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and has since gone on to write "Faster Than the Speed of Night" and "Holding Out for a Hero" as well as many other memorable hits. In March, the BBC announced that Tyler would represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest. In an interview with Celebs On Sunday, Tyler commented on turning down the chance to perform the title song for 1983's rival Bond film "Never Say Never Again". She then added that she would like the producers to consider her for an official film. "I wish they'd ask me again and give me a good song, I didn't like the song [Never Say Never Again] and it was the only one that never became a hit." Comments are closed.
