Introduction
In 1995 the world was given the 17th James Bond movie, Goldeneye, which introduced a whole new generation to the long-loved series. The story of which was conceived over a period of six years where many writers were brought in and drastic changes to locations and plot details occurred. As a result, the final film was almost completely different to it's initial draft dated May 1990. Through extensive research, 007Bond has tried to piece together the original storyline which would have starred Timothy Dalton. Although there have been many drafts, the main structure of the story had changed three times. We will refer to the first version as Bond 17 v1, the second version will be referred to as Bond 17 v2, and the final version is the final shooting script for Goldeneye.
