As well as announcing that James Bond would be driving a brand new Aston Martin in the next film, Barbara Broccoli also revealed that they are yet to cast the villain but are narrowing down the search.
As the Bond In Motion exhibition moves to the London Film Museum, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli visited it's opening and commented on 50 years of Bond vehicles. During the interview, Michael Wilson announced that, due to Bond's DB5 being blown up in Skyfall, a brand new Aston Martin would feature in the new film which "people haven't seen yet"
A press release earlier this week confirmed that the popular exhibition "Bond In Motion" at the Beaulieu National Motor Museum was to move to the London Film Museum. Read the press release below...
Bond in Motion, the largest official collection of James Bond vehicles, will be on display at the London Film Museum from 21 March. The exhibition contains more than 100 pieces including models, production art, props and iconic vehicles including ‘Little Nellie’ from YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, Goldfinger’s Rolls-Royce Phantom III and the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from GOLDENEYE. Also on display, for the first time, will be the 1/3 scale model of the Agusta Westland AW101 helicopter used in the filming of SKYFALL. Thankfully, ITV have reacquired the rights and 007 will be back on UK television in the new year...
Ralph Fiennes confirmed earlier this week that he will be returning in "Bond 24". In "Skyfall" he was introduced as Gareth Mallory. But those who have seen the film know that his character takes over as "M" the MI6 Chief; a role previously filled by Dame Judi Dench. "I think everyone knows that, I don't think that's particularly a secret. I'm looking forward to it very much." Ralph Fiennes on playing M in "Bond 24" When Barbara Broccoli and John Logan attended the Institute of Directors event in Dublin last week they were asked by fans whether Ireland would be considered for a possible location inthe next James Bond movie.
Of course, what would you say if you were surrounded by thousands of Irish Bond fans? Barbara replied that if John Logan includes Ireland in the script “we’ll come here. Ireland is gorgeous. I’d love to come here and make a Bond film.” An Ireland paper read "Hopes rise next James Bond film will be shot in Ireland" as its headline. John Logan is currently at the long process of writing the script for BOND 24 which is not due for release until fall 2015. |
