Skyfall - probable title for Bond 23 With Quantum of Solace, Sony Pictures purchased several domain names regarding the title of the film before it went public. We believe that they have done this again for Bond 23. On 3rd October Sony Pictures purchased over 15 domain names, suspiciously relating to James Bond. Observe... jamesbond-skyfall.com, jamesbond-skyfall.net, jamesbondskyfall.com, jamesbondskyfall.net, skyfall-film.net, skyfall-thefilm.com, skyfall-thefilm.net, skyfall-themovie.com, skyfall-themovie.net, skyfallfilm.net, skyfallmovie.net, skyfallthefilm.com, skyfallthefilm.net, skyfallthemovie.com and skyfallthemovie.com At first, we thought it was going to be the name of a new James Bond video game, but we soon found domains including the words 'movie' and 'film'. A few weeks ago, Daniel Craig hinted to us that they had a title in the making but wouldn't reveal it yet. Could this be the name of the 23rd James Bond film? I don't know, but it sure is better than Quantum of Solace though, eh? Filming in Scotland confirmed A few months ago we heard a rumour that part of the film will be taking place in a castle in Scotland. We recently found out that Sctoland is a confirmed location. The scene is expected to take place at Duntrune Castle on Poltalloch Estate near Lochgilphead. The Duntrune Castle is the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland. They plan to start filming in February 2012. “Preparatory work begins as soon as everybody sobers up after New Year, but I can’t go into details. I am sworn to secrecy.” Scenes from From Russia With Love have been filmed there; a coincidence because they are also going to be filming in Turkey, which is another location in FRWL. Bond Girl casting confirmed Last week, rumours began that Berenice Marlohe had opted for the role of a Bond Girl in Bond 23. Today, we have been informed that the casting will all be revealed soon, and that Berenice Marlohe has landed a role. Another actress who has reportedly landed a role in the film is Helen McCrory (famous for playing Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter series). This report comes from reliable tabloids, and although they say that the casting has been confirmed, we like to wait until one of the crew members mentions it. Another confirmed role is M's Chief of Staff, Tanner. Rory Kinnear will be returning to the role. New blog posts every week with the latest information on Bond 23. Filming in India cancelled It was recently confirmed by EON that Bond 23 will not be filmed in India, after the hassel they had trying to get permission to film there. "We'd given them all the permissions. They wanted to shoot in the Sabarmati yard and had asked to shoot on two gauges - broad gauge and meter gauge - and they wanted these for seven-hour stretches every day for seven days in a row, and we'd agreed. All had been worked out. They also wanted to shoot between Mumbai and Goa on the hero train, and wanted a special shot where a motorcycle from a bridge would jump on to a train, and the coach on which he'd jump needed to be re-enforced, and we agreed." "The matter was finalised by September 13. But a week later, we were informed that after an international discussion, the production team decided not to shoot in India. We've been very cooperative with them. We had ourselves hoped that the movie would be shot here," Instead of filming in India, the scenes will be moved to South Africa, which was a back-up for India. Filming is scheduled to begin there soon. Other confirmed locations include Istanbul and Pinewood Studios. Ebru Akel rejected as Bond villainess Ebru Akel is a Turkish actress who was going to acompany Daniel Craig in Bond 23. She auditioned for the role of a villainess (the villains daughter or girlfriend) weeks ago but unfortunatley she didn't get accepted. But, this has told us that it is very possible that there will be a villainess in this next movie. Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem Ever since the beginning of the year, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem have been rumoured to play a role in the next film. Ralph Fiennes was rumoured to play a dark role in the film, whereas Javier Bardem was said to be playing the main villain. Recently, Daniel Craig let slip that these two are likely to be in the new film. "I hope so, I hope so," "We've got a great script this time. I'm as excited about this script as I was about the 'Casino Royale' script. I think in Sam [Mendes] we've got the perfect director. The cast is coming together now. I can't wait to get going on it." With production starting soon, more and more roles will be confirmed. Istanbul scenes The producers of Bond 23 met with Tourist Minister Ertugrul Günay to secure the filming taking place in Istanbul this November. "The opening scenes are planned to be filmed in Istanbul, but some other places will also be used outside Istanbul for the film," "Such is the appeal of the series that many of the locations where Bond films have been filmed in the past have continued to attract Bond fans to visit many years down the line. The fact that the opening scene of the film will be made in Turkey will contribute to Turkish tourism. The ministry has been providing big support to the film sector for five years. We have made a concerted effort in the past five years to support the film sector and our aim continues to be to welcome international film crews to our country for filming," To celebrate 50 Years of James Bond, there taking the film back to one of the most loved places. Turkey was one of the filming locations in From Russia With Love and The World Is Not Enough. This time, they are hoping to film some of the more historic locations in the area. "There are, however, a number of locations, including the waterside and shores of the Bosporus, in consideration for the 10-15 minutes of the movie that is to be filmed in Turkey," Berenice Marlohe Bond girl rumour A French actress Berenice Marlohe has been rumoured this week to have got a part in the film. We already know that there is going to be at least two female characters (the main Bond Girl and a villainess), but no further information has been provided. New look for James Bond Daniel Craig has told interviewers that James Bond will be getting a new look for the new film. The costume designer is Tom Ford, who has worked alongside Louise Frogley for Quantum of Solace. "Tom [Ford]'s doing the suits. In fact, I've spent a long time with Tom getting a very different look and he's been designing a new set of things [for the film]." "It's great that he's doing it. It's going to be a new kinda look. It's a new feel. I'm very excited about that. I'm very excited about the suits." "I'm really lucky to have a wardrobe with five or six beautiful suits done by Tom and some other people." For Bond 23, Louise Frogley will be replaced by Jany Temime, who has worked on the costumes for the Harry Potter films. Improvements from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace "Sam [Mendes] is a huge, huge Bond fan and has been all his life. He and I both said at the beginning to each other that the only thing we want to do is make the best James Bond movie we can. So therefore, we have to go back to what we know about the books, what we know about the movies and what we know about all of that... And improve upon it." "That's where we started off, and that's where we started with the script, and that's where we started from for the look and feel of it, the characters... It's how we're going to continue on the movie - doing the best that we can." Gallery

Bond 23 Title hint A recent interview with Daniel Craig has proved that an actual title for the new film has been considered. Anrea Mineo from CNN posted a tweet on her Twitter account, "I think I'm interviewing Daniel Craig shortly. Bond baby." Later on, she made another post saying "So Daniel Craig just told me they are starting the next James Bond film and it's got a title but he wouldn't tell me it." Bond 23, as its inevitably known, is scheduled to begin filming in Pinewood Studios this November ready for its release on 26th Octobert 2012 in the UK. John Logan hints about returning iconic character At a BAFTA event, screenwriter John Logan hinted that an iconic character may be returning. A member of the audience reminded Logan of something he said years ago. He said "Bond should always fight Blofeld'. He replied by repeating the phrase after letting of a little smirk. However, the posibility of Blofeld returning to the series is quite bleak, as the previous fimls have been based around a QUANTUM organisation. It is more likely that James Bond will go after the QUANTUM organisation before engaging in SPECTRE. If you didn't already know, both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are set before the rest of the Bond films, bringing Bond back to basics and giving audiences the chance to see how Bond has changed into the Bond we all know and love. The SPECTRE organisation was first introduced in Dr No and James Bond had never heard of it before. Because of this, it has left us wondering if John Logan meant someone else. Perhaps his quote from ten years ago was just to wet our appetites. Here are some iconic characters we think could return: Q - The quartermaster of MI6, who hasn't been present in the previous two films. A lot of fans have been dissapoined with the fact that he has been considered 'not-required'. Miss Moneypenny - Another character who has not appeared in the latest two films. Although suspicion has risen that Naomi Harris will play this role Jaws - The guy with the expensive teeth. He has only been present in two films (and several video games) Paris Carver - In Tomorrow Never Dies 1997, a relationship between James Bond and Paris Carver had blossomed before the film. Could she be returning? Valentin Zukovski - James Bond hints in GoldenEye 1995 that he was the one who 'gave him the limp', suggesting that he has had an encounter with him before which hasn't been present in the current films. Other characters could include Tanner or Robinson Bond 23 to begin production next week At the premiere of George Clooney's new film The Ides of March, Daniel Craig was asked about his third outing as James Bond "Craig told me he starts the next James Bond movie next week, which means a lot of working out. Daniel did not know whether the deal was done for Adele to sing the main theme" Filming at Pinewood Studios is still expected to begin in November. This means that they could be working on another scene in an unidentified location. It also confirms that the rumours of Adele singing a theme song is true, but we still don't know if it is for Bond 23. New blog posts every week with the latest information on Bond 23.
Jeffrey Wright to play Felix Leiter? It is still unconfirmed that Jeffrey Wright, a two time Felix Leiter, will return for the new film. There is still a posibility that he could return. They have recently been focussing on some of the characters who are going to appear in the India sequence. Ola Rapace joining the team A recent news report from the Swedish new paper Expressen, Tusenbröder star Ola Rapace has obtained a role in the new film. EON has not yet confirmed this, but other reports have said that he has "a new project in the pipeline that will take all his time and focus" New blog posts every week with the latest information on Bond 23. Daniel Craig preparing for his return Daniel Craig speaks about change for the new film. "It's just what's happening at the moment and it's very exciting for me, because I get the chance to do movies like this, which are way beyond what I would have expected to be doing four or five years ago,". Craig headed back to the gym for the new film. He feels as though the next film will be as physical as Quantum of Solace. "It's really boring. So boring I can't tell you. Quantum was very physical, probably too physical. We were suffering because there was the writers' strike and we weren't allowed to do rewrites, so the action sequences got juggled together and I personally ended up doing way too much. It was difficult." Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig have said ‘Let's just try to do the best James Bond film we can.' I know that sounds like a cliche or an obvious thing to say, but I went back and reread the books and watched all the movies and I want to do something that does justice'. Adele to sing the next opening track The British singer Adele has hinted that she will sing the song used for the opening sequence to Bond 23. On Friday night, Johnathan Ross had Adele feature in his show. The singer says "I’m going back in the studio in November. Fingers crossed." "Well, this is actually a theme, what I’ve got to do. Wow, that’s really giving something away," Ross then started humming the iconic James Bond theme. Adele blushed and quickly changed the subject. Although she never actually said that she was doing the song, she didn't say she wasn't either. Ana Araujo to be the next Bond girl Recent news has stated that Brazilian model Ana Araujo has joined the team. A while ago, she said that she wanted to start an acting career and spoke of her enthusiasm towards working with Daniel Craig. "He's perfect and very hansome." She said that she wanted to get the part of the Bond girl, but nothing was confirmed. Recently, newspapers state that Araujo is getting a part in the new film. She is expected begin her acting career in Pinewood Studios this November. "Ana is really excited. It’s all very new to her but she is optimistic about the prospect of landing the role." Alexander Witt as 2nd Unit Director of Photography It is confirmed that Alexander Witt, who has appeared as 2nd Unit Director of Photography for "Harry Potter", "Robin Hood" and "X-Men: First Class", will take the same role in Bond 23. He also had the same role in 'Casino Royale' in 2006 and is excited to re-join the team. India filming location halted EON's plans to film in India have been halted due to some height issues. “Height is an issue. For the sequence, they require a particular height, which is not there near this spot. But they have still listed this place,”. Sources said that the Bond movie will be shot over 40 days from January to March. Based on Peter Morgan's story In summer 2009, it was reported that Peter Morgan would co-write for the new film, but due to the financial problems with MGM he quit the role after coming up with a basic outline. Peter Morgan has recently revealed that the new screenwriters Purvis, Wade and John Logan have decided to use his idea. "I hear that an idea, the central idea, is still there but not one similar thing other than that. I think they've still kept the big hook, which I'm not going to tell you!" Bond 23 in Istanbul, Turkey Like From Russia With Love and The World Is Not Enough, recent reports have said that scenes for Bond 23 will be shot in Istanbul, Turkey in a historical place called Saltanahmet Square. They have filming permission from the Turkish Minister. “Shooting will start within the next few months. We have discussed the issue and rather than closing the square completely, some parts could be partially closed from time to time for the filming. We have to consider our tourists, but we can accommodate foreign film production companies that want to use Turkey as a platform.” Other confirmed filming locations include India and South Africa. China has also been considered but not confirmed. Because of this, they will start filming in November 2011 in Pinewood Studios, just 11 months before the film is released in the UK. Gallery
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS India filming location approved EON finally have permission to film the dangerous train sequence from the new film in India. Slight changes have been made to ensure passenger safety during the shooting of the scene. "When the Indian line producer came for discussions, I said Bond will have to promote Indian railways and be its brand ambassador. They agreed. We will soon have a written agreement," said Dinesh Trivedi, the railway minister. In the scene, James Bond will jump onto a moving train whilst on a motorbike, then leap onto another passing train and drop below the tracks and into a large dip of water. The final stunt will not be shot in India because of a highly dangerous risk. This stunt will be shot elsewhere. Film title EON denies that the new film will be called 'Carte Blanche'. - Carte Blanche is the new James Bond novel written by Jeffery Deaver. None of the James Bond films have been based on any non-Ian Fleming novel. "The new film is not going to be called Carte Blanche and will have nothing to do with the Jeffery Deaver book." said EON Productions. "It's going to be a great movie, We've got a great director and I'm very excited about the script. I'm going to be very suave in it." Daniel Craig Javier Bardem confirmed by German movie websites German movie websites have confirmed that Javier Bardem will play the villain. The news was revealed during the DVD release of his latest film 'Biutiful'. "Oscar-Preisträger Bardem („BIUTIFUL“) wird als Bösewicht und Gegenspieler von Craig im neuen James Bond Film zu sehen sein. In „BOND 23“ kann der Hollywood-Star, der mit Penélope Cruz verheiratet ist, seine schauspielerischen Fähigkeiten als Schurke erneut unter Beweis stellen: Für seine Performance des psychopathischen Auftragskillers in No Country for Old Men wurde er 2008 mit dem Oscar® ausgezeichnet." TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH "Oscar-winner Bardem ("Biutiful") will be seen as a villain and antagonist of Craig in the new James Bond film. In "Bond 23" is the Hollywood star who is married to Penelope Cruz to put his acting skills as a rogue again demonstrated: for his performance of the psychopathic assassin in No Country for Old Men, he was awarded the 2008 Oscar ®." In April 2011, we found out that the film-makers were planning a big train stunt for Bond 23. They were originally planning to film this scene in India, but changes may be made because the bureaucrats are currently ignoring the agreement to let them film. This has resorted in some major problems. They are currently planning for this scene to be filmed in South Africa.
"The shooting was supposed to happen in October-November. Now, we've postponed it to January-February. For the past three months, we've been trying to get things in order. The film has Daniel Craig doing stunts on a freight train." Aside from this, Daniel Craig says that he is really looking forward to the new film. "We've got a script, it's fantastic and we start shooting October... November this year for a November release next year," Craig said. "I'm really gagging to go. I've had a break now, and things have come together with the timing of it." "I read the script the other day and I'm more excited about [Bond 23] than I was about "Casino Royale", because we've got a classic Bond movie... plus lots of other things" It seems that this film is going to be better than Daniel Craig's previous Bond films. We are all excited about the new film as it has been confirmed by Barbara Broccoli that the series will move on to new things. It will not be structured like a trilogy although some parts may refer to the Quantum organisation. Some cast has been revealed. Daniel Craig as James Bond, Judi Dench as M, Naomi Harris as Miss Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as Q and Javier Bardem as a villain. (This statement is currently marked as rumour until full research has been carried out)
